This is SO much better than store bought, and it is keto friendly! Could you ask for anything more?!
Keto Maple Syrup
In saucepan, add:
1 cup water
1/2 tsp Xanthan Gum
Whisk over medium heat until well combined. Simmer on medium-low for an additional 5-7 mins or until thickened, whisking often.
Add:
1/2 cup monk fruit, granulated
1/4 cup butter
1 tsp maple extract
1/2 tsp vanilla extract (or equivalent fresh vanilla bean paste)
Whisk mixture until butter is melted, and all ingredients are well-combined. Reduce mixture for 3-5 mins until golden and gooey.
*if mix is too thick, add a tiny bit of water until desired consistency.
Serve & Devour
